Sharnita ‘Neata’ Crompton started her journey with Build Clean back in early 2019 as a part time cleaner. Neata Crompton drive for excellence and unrivalled work ethic saw her progress through the company at an alarming rate. Neata’s background as a junior elite athlete meant she knew that hard work gets noticed and those who don’t put the work in get benched. Neata was a student of the Level-Up program and paved the way for the company’s growth in the Adelaide location. She became the first female Operations Manager and then, the first female Managing Director of the Queensland location.
Build Clean’s Level-Up program is the company’s internal leadership training platform designed to generate excellence in service delivery and create career pathway opportunities. Neata is among many of the beneficiaries of the program and her recent achievements have positioned her at the top of the company’s decision makers. The most common question I get asked Neata said, is “why move to Queensland” when opportunity exists in so many other locations. The answer is simple recalled Neata, the company is big on lifestyle drivers which I believe is a massive reason why the people at Build Clean are so friendly. Neata continued, the directors acknowledge opportunities but are always looking to find a win-win between financial reward and enjoyment of the journey. Although Neata is a highly intelligent young leader, it was her ability to adapt to changing environments with unwavering service delivery standards that elevated her to Managing Director. Neata always puts the customer outcome first and knows the team so well that she will stand side by side with them until each project is complete to the clients satisfaction.
